The existing kitchen was very much in need of updating and made very poor use of the possible space.
By extending back into the old garage (also being converted) the floor space tripled.
A new structural steel was added to allow the old outside wall to be reduced changing the space completely.
Building control required 500mm insulation to be used on the exterior wall requiring some minor adjustments to the kitchen layout.
New lintels were installed over the old window and back door and new windows and doors installed to replace to tired old ones and complete the new look of the new space.
