Connection Construction Limited are recruiting for an apprentice bricklayer to join our team in Chelmsford. We run a small, lean team, mostly working on the development projects for our parent company Connection Investments Limited. Our projects include House Building & Refurbishment Projects for Connection Investments and Extensions, Renovations and Conversions for the public as Connection Construction.
We're CITB registered, looking for an apprentice to start their NVQ apprenticeship in September, ideal opportunity for a school leaver wanting to gain a skill for life.
As well as working towards your NVQ in bricklaying you'll be involved in every part of house building, developments, refurbishments and general public work, extensions & conversions.
You will be reporting directly to our foreman and expected to be involved in all stages of construction, labouring during groundworks, drainage, carpentry, plastering & landscaping. As well as being fully trained in Bricklaying you will have an opportunity to shadow other specialist trades, be involved in other trades and learn the whole construction process.

After the apprenticeship and providing you can achieve a good standard work and problem solving then there is the option of a full-time role within one of the companies in the organisation.
Things to consider:
You will need to be able to work an 8-hour shift including occasional unpaid overtime on sites throughout Essex. The applicant will be spending the majority of their time on building sites whether that be internal or external, you will be outdoors, winter and summer.
